Are the kids tired of being in the house? Do you need to do some Christmas shopping on Black Friday? Join DMYAT for "Play in A Day" - an ALL-Day camp where young artists will learn, build, and perform a play, all in one day.

What is a "Play in A Day?"

​

Play in a Day is where students attend a WHOLE DAY class from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The day will start with the students playing a few acting games and then have a story read to them. The story is the play that the students will perform. Students will then be cast and assigned roles. There will be a lunch break and after lunch, the cast will begin to work on putting the show together. The cast will work on putting together costumes, set pieces, and props all in the minimal time they have together. Then, at 4:30 PM parents and guardians can watch the performance!

Who can attend?

Students in 4th grade through 9th grade.

Is lunch provided?

​

No, students are responsible for bringing their own lunch, drinks, and snacks. (No peanuts please).

What is the cost?

​

Registration is $75 per student.

​

Where is the camp?

​

Camp will take place at our rehearsal space at Franklin Junior High, Suite 1163.

*We need a minimum of 10 students for the camp to run.
